An ode to @manoloslovesyou the #1 fest food worldwide 🥟 sadly I set myself for disappointment trying to recreate something uniquely incredible but am inspired to keep trying!
Used francis mallmann’s empanada dough recipe and made my fave filling @manoloslovesyou manicotti with ricotta, shrooms & swiss chard that i dream of all year leading up to @summercampfest ⛺️ it was tasty, but not the same flaky crust i was craving. This dough was more dry, so might serve with marinara for dipping 🍅
With the extra filling, made a @foodwastefeast baked pasta with two half full bags of different shapes that had been orphaned in the back of the pantry 🤗
