Sweet Cream and Sugar Cones

The ice cream maker is missing in action somewhere in the archaeological excavation that is our basement, so had to stick to a topping from the @biritecreamery cookbook. Blueberries, sugar and lemon zest/juice simmered to a sauce was good as a topping, but even better mixed into the cream and refrozen. I love nothing more than fresh fruit crisp with a scoop of vanilla- death row desert- and this combo really hits that spot 🍦🍦
